Who are your style inspirations?
"If I think about the look that inspires me most, it has to be the quintessential Parisian woman aesthetic. She’s dressed in all black, wearing fishnets or a light and sheer 15/35 denier.
It’s so chic, and when paired with an effortless outfit, it instantly makes you the coolest woman in the room.
I adore the styles of Audrey Hepburn, Patti Smith, Françoise Hardy, and Carine Roitfeld - each undeniably chic, understated, and full of allure.
You can wear a beautiful outfit, but there’s something about tights that can anchor/underpin everything. They make a look feel more effortless, less like you’re trying to catch a second glance."
What are your trend predictions for the coming season?
"I think we’ll continue to see deep burgundy and chocolate brown tones this AW, with pops of animal print to carry that catwalk-to-high-street feel.
The mix of textures and tones creates the perfect smoky, party-season mood. It says: sexy, cool girl."
How do you choose the perfect pair of tights?
"I’ve always been a less is more person in the way I dress. There’s something so cool about a simple dress paired with mega tights - it feels incredibly effortless.
For me, it’s about balancing a look and choosing the right accents. The perfect tights can elevate anything while making a woman feel held and elongated."
Textures, patterns or plains - how do you choose?
"I’m an everything girl - it depends on my mood and the time of day. Come October, you’ll almost always see me in a 60 denier.
The Heist Sixty is my everyday go-to. It means I can throw anything else on top and know I’ll feel comfortable, yet still put together.
Then in the evening, I’m beyond excited to start wearing the oversized leopard print tights I’ve designed."
Flats, heels or trainers?
"I’m a kitten heel, high heel, ballet flat, and loafer girl with tights - never trainers.
As soon as summer ends, I can’t wait to put on my Heist tights, day or night. They make me feel comfy, supported, and elevated all at once.
In the evening, I’d say anything with a pointy toe is the way to go - it keeps the leg looking like it goes on for miles and always turns heads."
