Robert Wun closed Paris Haute Couture Week with Childsplay, a collection that handed the runway back to the imagination of a child. Balloons the size of people, paper doves caught mid-flight, harlequins and teddy bears, and a giant inflatable of Pop Mart’s Skullpanda watching over the room.
Heist's Thirty-Five appeared under three looks: Midnight Navy for looks 4 and 13, Black for look 25.

Childsplay
Wun has shown couture in Paris since 2023, and this was his most theatrical outing yet. The opening looks came in pristine white, marked with embroidery like paint flicked across a page. From there the collection turned to colour, in shapes that borrowed from wooden toys and party balloons. Paper birds took flight from shoulders and headpieces. Tailoring gave way to real balloons pushing out through the seams.
Under the spectacle sat a serious idea, and the show notes put it plainly.
To believe in the power of imagination, that the courage to create is far greater than the desire to consume.

Looks 4 and 13 wore The Thirty-Five in Midnight Navy. Look 25 took the sheer tight in Black. On a runway this loud, the job of a tight is a quiet one: to hold the line of the leg under a gown and stay put for the length of the show.
The Thirty-Five is a 35 denier semi-sheer, knit from Q-Nova® by Fulgar recycled polyamide and made in Italy. Seamless, gusset-free, with the hand-sewn adaptive waistband that does not dig, roll or sag. Nothing you would clock from the front row, which is rather the point of a good foundation.
The reception was warm, and a little giddy. Style Not Com, never knowingly understated, summed up the mood.
This season, the designer went back to where we all end up after all: childhood! Dear Robert, never grow up!
