What does 15 denier mean?

Denier measures the weight of the yarn used to knit a tight - the lower the number, the finer and more sheer the fabric. At 15 denier, these tights are light and beautifully transparent for a natural, sheer finish, while being a touch more resilient and ladder-resistant than ultra-fine sheers like our 8-denier Bare Nude. It's the perfect balance for an everyday sheer that looks barely-there but lasts.

How does the Contour waistband work?

The Contour waistband uses the same shaping technology as our Contour collection to gently flatten the tummy and smooth the body, with graduated compression through the waist and leg. It sits flat against the skin and hugs rather than digs or rolls, so you get medium-compression support that holds all day.

Which shade should I choose for my skin tone?

Match your shade to the tone of your inner wrist or the skin beside your eye for the most natural finish - the Fifteen Contour comes in four nude shades graded across skin tones. If you fall between two, the slightly deeper shade usually looks more natural in daylight. The Heist shade finder can confirm your match.

How does this differ from the standard Nude Sheer Tights?

The Fifteen Contour adds shaping and a finer finish: it's a ladder-resistant 15 denier with a tummy-flattening Contour waistband and graduated compression, where the original Nude Sheer is an 18 denier with a hand-sewn adaptive waistband and no shaping. Choose the Fifteen Contour if you want sculpting support under dresses and skirts; choose the Nude Sheer for an everyday sheer with a little more coverage.
