Heist Studios at London Fashion Week AW26
London Fashion Week AW26 made one thing clear: the leg is back.
From structured tailoring to sheer layering and bold colour, hosiery wasn’t an afterthought this season - it was intentional. At Heist Studios, we were proud to see Heist tights featured across multiple runway shows, styled as an integral part of each designer’s vision.
Here’s where you saw us.
Completedworks: Colour as Statement
For AW26, Completedworks’ Creative Director Anna Jewsbury staged Good Food, Good Friends, a hyper-styled dinner party performance exploring identity, ritual and self-presentation. The cast included Jemima Kirke, Camille Charrière and Cecilia Mezzi, with hosiery playing a subtle but powerful role in defining each look.
Heist featured in three key outfits:
These weren’t background details. The black tights grounded tailored silhouettes. The red tights added tension and contrast. The powder blue tights delivered a directional pop of colour, a shade we’re seeing everywhere for both spring and autumn this year.
It’s a reminder that coloured tights are one of the simplest ways to shift a look without overcomplicating it.
Paul Costelloe: Tailoring, Structure and Chocolate Brown
William Costelloe’s debut as Creative Director for Paul Costelloe focused on sharp tailoring and sculpted proportions. Strong shoulders, precise cuts and layered textures defined the collection.
To complement the polish of these looks, the styling team chose Heist tights in:
The semi-sheer finish added refinement without distraction. In particular, chocolate brown tights felt modern and rich — softer than black, but just as versatile. Paired with structured tailoring, they created a seamless line from hem to heel.
Sheer Tights
Masha Popova: Sheer Layers and Attitude
Masha Popova’s AW26 show, Intimate Hours, explored the bedroom as a psychological space. The silhouettes were bold - ultra-low rises, abbreviated shorts and fluid printed sets - styled under the dramatic ceilings of Charterhouse.
Hosiery became part of the narrative.
Looks were layered over fine sheer tights, including The Fifteen and The Thirty-Five from Heist Studios. The lightweight finish created coverage without heaviness, allowing texture and proportion to remain the focus.
Sheer black tights under micro-shorts and slouched boots felt undone but intentional - proving that sheer hosiery is one of the most versatile styling tools for 2026.
LUEDER: Opaque Impact
At LUEDER, the energy shifted towards opacity and strength. The brand opted for higher deniers - The Sixty, The Eighty and The 125 - embracing fully opaque tights for maximum impact, with a single pop-of-colour with The Thirty-Five in Powder Blue.
The runway cast included cultural icons and boundary-pushing creatives, reinforcing the label’s strong point of view. Dark, dense hosiery anchored tracksuits, sharp jackets and hybrid footwear, demonstrating how tights can hold structure within a look.
The AW26 Takeaway: Tights Are the Finishing Piece
Across London Fashion Week AW26, one theme connected every show: hosiery as styling architecture.
From sheer tights layered under bold silhouettes, to directional blue tights, classic black tights, rich chocolate brown tights, and statement red tights, the leg became the foundation of the outfit. We also continue to see momentum behind patterned tights, from subtle texture to bold prints, as designers lean into detail and depth for the season ahead.
At Heist Studios, we design tights to work at every level, from runway to real life. Engineered for comfort, durability and movement, our tights are built to support the way you actually dress.
