What does denier mean?
Denier refers to the weight of fabric. In tights, a super low denier, like The Fifteen, will be more see-through and often feels thinner. These will be feather-light on your skin and give you a barely-there look, perfect for warmer weather or adding a touch of coverage under breezy dresses. Meanwhile, a higher denier, like The 125 Nano, is heavier and more opaque, concealing your skin completely.
As our nude styles are made for the warmer months they are created in the most lightweight deniers. The Bare Nude is 8 denier, the Nude Sheer Tights are 18 denier, and the contour is 15 denier.
Should I wear nude tights that are lighter or darker than my skin tone?
This down to your personal preference. The subtle bare leg look can only be achieved by choosing a tone that is as close to your skin colour as possible, but we find that some customers may choose one shade up for a tanned look.
Are the nude tights tones matt or shiny?
We achieve a natural skin tone look for Heist nude tights by creating a finish that is not shiny or matt, but somewhere in between -this texture coupled with a seamless design means that it's hard to spot you're wearing tights, even with sandals.
The waistband colour is slightly darker, why is that?
The waistband appears darker as the fabric is thicker here - created using Heist technology for maximum comfort without slipping, sagging or digging.
